UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031

Adopted by the UAE Cabinet in April 2019, the strategy aims to make the UAE a global leader in AI by 2031. Its first priority sectors include resources and energy, logistics and transportation, tourism and hospitality, healthcare and cyber security.

Dubai's AI agenda

Dubai is building on the national strategy with its own blueprint, institutions and annual programmes, led by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence under the Dubai Future Foundation.

Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence

Supports the D33 Agenda. Its first phase includes a Chief AI Officer in every Dubai government entity, an AI and Web3 incubator, AI Week in schools and universities, land for data centres and a Dubai commercial licence for AI.

AI acceleration initiatives

An AI Infrastructure Empowerment Platform for government entities, the Dubai AI Acceleration Taskforce, formed after consultations with Chief AI Officers from 27 entities, and the Unicorn 30 programme to grow 30 Dubai-based billion-dollar companies.

Dubai AI Week 2026

The second edition, organised by the Dubai Centre for AI, combined an AI Retreat, the Dubai Assembly for AI, the Dubai AI Festival and the Machines Can See Summit around six pillars, from governing the future to expanding the frontiers of knowledge.
